The team

Our Real Estate group is one of the largest in the UK, representing an impressive range of clients from developers, investors and corporate occupiers, banks and other funders.

The role

With increasing work levels our Birmingham commercial development team are keen to speak to solicitors of 1+pqe demonstrating strong commercial and technical experience or a strong interest (depending on the level of qualification) in representing development and investment clients on a variety of real estate matters.

Main responsibilities

The work will include but not limited to the grant and exercise of options, conditional contracts, agreements for lease and pre-lets, development agreements, development management agreements, forward funding and acquisition and disposal work. There is also the chance to represent banks and banks’ customers in putting together development finance and investment finance deals and packages.

The successful candidate will work closely and in partnership with clients and partners in the development and investment team based in Birmingham. The team has a track record in acting on significant investments and developments and also bringing team members on all the way through to partnership.
