Tax is a cost which, like anything else, needs to be managed. Failure to take it into account at an early stage can mean the difference between success and failure. Our aim is to provide advice that is clear, commercial and concise, in order to help clients achieve a successful outcome. Our lawyers are skilled at looking for commercial solutions, whether dealing with general tax planning, tax efficient employee and remuneration packages, investing and exit tax structuring, or negotiating with HMRC. We are members of the international alliance of law firms, World Services Group, with which we work closely to provide solutions across tax boundaries.

We specialise in handling corporate, real estate and EIS/VCT tax matters predominantly for large corporates. Our dynamic three partner tax team are skilled at looking for commercial solutions, whether dealing with general tax planning, tax efficient employee and remuneration packages, investing and exit tax structuring, or negotiating with HMRC.

Our team is looking to grow and is seeking to appoint an additional tax adviser to join us in either Birmingham or Thames Valley. This is a newly created role with exciting prospects and a clearly defined progression track. The role would suit either an existing tax paralegal or a tax consultant/adviser who is looking for an alternative and interesting new opportunity. Legal qualification is desired but not necessary – you will be provided with on the job training and support by our existing team of specialists. 

We will consider this position at entry level provided that you have a genuine interest in a career in tax law.  Please note that this role will be supporting a legal team therefore we are unable to offer any routes to chartered accountancy qualification.
