The team

Our finance team are committed to providing an efficient and accurate service to our legal advisors and to other support functions.  At the centre of this is ensuring that the client and office accounts are kept up to date and invoices are produced accurately and in a timely manner.

The role

Our Financial Planning & Analysis team are looking for an Administrator to support to the team. This is a role working within a team of 7 that provide forecasting, reporting and budgeting to the whole firm. 

Main responsibilities
  • Proactive administration of the new starters and leavers process
  • Process the daily bank statement loads
  • Publish daily income report
  • Data entry of FP&A models
  • Update FP&A SAP tables
  • Calculate client rebates
  • Month end set up / reporting
  • Ad Hoc reporting
Skills and qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Confident with Excel and its functionality.
  • Ability to prioritise, be organised and efficient.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly and helpful approach.
  • Flexibility with the capability to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure but with the ability to recognise when to seek assistance.
  • Able to integrate within a team and able to work on your own initiative. 
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C including Maths and English.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of using SAP, Word and the internet.
  • Previous experience working within a law firm or professional services company.

Background checks

Due to the nature of the work undertaken, confirmation of employment will be subject to a variety of checks which will be carried out once an offer of employment is accepted.  These checks will include employment references covering the last 5 years, proof of ID, proof of address covering the last 5 years, Personnel Vetting credit search (which will only highlight insolvency or County Court Judgments - should any adverse data show on the Personnel Vetting search then any offer of employment made will be withdrawn).Terrorism Check (against data supplied by the Bank of England) and a DBS check previously known as a Criminal Records check.
