The team

You will be part of team of specialists within the national development team who deal with issues, around planning, infrastructure, vacant possession, real estate tax, agricultural law, mixed use, leisure retails and construction. Our integrated teams work seamlessly to deliver specialist advice cost effectively and help clients achieve their goals, ensuring nothing is missed. Clients comment on Shoosmiths lawyers’ willingness to listen and understand the commercial goals of their scheme before offering clear, strategic advice.

The role

We are looking for someone with excellent technical skills in respect of the usual range of property transactions. Significant title experience i.e. being alive to title issues and how to deal with them and landlord and tenant experience will be required but we are particularly looking for someone with commercial development and/or agriculture experience. You will be working on behalf of major UK national developers through all stages of the development process. The role will also see you acting for private and commercial clients on the sale and purchase of agricultural land. The applicant should also have specific experience of negotiating conditional development agreements from an occupier’s perspective.
