The team

Our team is one of the leading and largest UK Real Estate teams, recently winning “Legal Team of the Year” at the Estates Gazettes awards. We are spread nationally across all offices and represent an impressive range of household name clients from developers, investors and corporate occupiers through to banks and funders on some of the highest value and profile projects around.

The National Construction team which is headed up by Patrick Garner is very well established with team/individuals across our Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester offices doing a mix of contentious and non-contentious work. The team comprises of five partners, six senior associates, two associates and five solicitors. The team works across all areas of the construction industry, acting for developers, funders, buyers, tenants, public sector clients, contractors, consultants and specialist sub-contractors. They have carved out a leading reputation in the market which complements the very successful property and planning practices in the firm.

The role

With ambitious growth plans on the agenda and to ensure our clients continue to get a high level of client care, we have a brilliant opportunity for a contentious construction partner to join us. This role will allow you to be involved in the strategic plans; working closely with the partners and departmental head. 

Skills and qualifications

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in contentious construction work who can bring some following with them. This role will be suitable for someone who is an existing partner or a senior associate looking for the next step in their career. In addition to this, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude and work collaboratively with the team.
