The role

Reporting to the manager of the Data Analytics team you will support efforts to maintain data quality and provide data assurance reports to key stakeholders. In addition, you will assist at various stages of system and process change cycles.

We consider this a level 1 competency position.

Main responsibilities
  • Analyse data to ensure it meets agreed standards (30%)
  • Support exercises to improve data quality (30%)
  • Assist management writing data assurance reports (20%)
  • Liaise with stakeholders and IT to progress change maintain or improve data integrity (15%)
  • Support the team with additional requirements (5%)

Role-specific knowledge and expertise

Essential

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience of working within a quality / assurance role

Experience, qualifications and other role-specific requirements

  • Good A Levels/BTEC

Preferred

  • Experience in a law firm, professional services firm or other service sector industry

Additional details

Travel to other Shoosmiths offices will be necessary on occasions.

It is essential that the Data Quality Analyst can work flexible or extended hours to complete some tasks outside of core business hours of 08:00 to 18:00 and at weekends.
