The role

We are currently looking for a Property Sales and Conveyancing Admin Assistant to join us in our Edinburgh Office on a temporary basis.  Full-time or Part-time will be considered.

Main responsibilities
  • Administration of BDP/ESPC websites for the marketing of residential properties
  • Liaising with surveyors, photographer, clients and other external agents regarding the marketing of residential, properties for sale and the obtaining of the Home Report
  • Proof reading draft brochures and agreeing layout and content with clients and printers
  • Uploading new properties for sale to BDP/ESPC websites
  • Acting as initial point of contact on telephone and email for general property enquiries and viewing requests
  • Liaising with clients and buyers and viewing agents via telephone and email
  • Obtaining feedback from viewers regarding property viewings
  • Updating Property Sales Negotiators regarding activity on their clients’ properties
  • Following up Home Report and Schedule requests
  • Updating electronic client files on bespoke software system
  • Reporting directly to Residential Team solicitors on all ongoing marketing activities
  • Providing telephone and typing support to Residential Property solicitors
  • General admin duties as required
Skills and qualifications
  • Polite, informative and empathetic to clients’ needs
  • Confident telephone manner with at least 6 months’ experience in a role that primarily involved telephone contact
  • Audio typing experience and a good typing speed
  • Proven sales and customer service
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Multi-tasking ability with capability to maintain accuracy
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft packages
  • Willingness to go the “extra mile”
