The team

Our finance team are committed to providing an efficient and accurate service to our legal advisors and to other support functions.  At the centre of this is ensuring that the client and office accounts are kept up to date and invoices are produced accurately and in a timely manner.

The role

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to FP&A.  Duties will include but are not limited to the following:-

Main responsibilities
  • Proactive administration of the new starters, leavers and transfers process
  • Process the daily bank statement loads
  • Publish daily income report
  • Maintain client hierarchies on SAP
  • Data entry of FP&A models
  • Update FP&A SAP tables
  • Month end set up / reporting
  • Calculate client rebates
  • Ad Hoc reporting
  • Liaise with Partners, Directors and operational staff to resolve queries

Essential Skills

  • Confident with Excel and its functionality
  • Ability to prioritise, be organised and efficient
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Friendly and helpful approach
  • Flexibility with the capability to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure but with the ability to recognise when to seek assistance
  • Able to integrate within a team and able to work on your own initiative

Desirable Skills

  • A minimum Maths and English GCSEs at grade C (or equivalent)
  • Experience of using SAP, Word and the internet
  • Previous experience working within a law firm or professional services company
