The role

We are looking for a minimum 1 year PQE solicitor to join our commercial team in Birmingham.  Applicants should have a strong interest in technology and IT contracts and/or commercial contracts.

We can offer you the opportunity to work with leading lawyers on top quality work in a collaborative environment. Our commercial team regularly acts for a range of large global companies such as Conde Nast International, Estée Lauder, Jaguar Land Rover, Three Mobile and Volkswagen Group making this an exciting and varied role. We operate a meritocracy. Your efforts and achievements will be recognised and you will have the chance to progress in accordance with your contribution.

We want to talk to you if you’re a self-starter - ambitious and passionate about building a career in this area. Our lawyers are pragmatic and innovative – they put the client at the centre of everything they do and they are continually seeking to develop and advance. We believe you should be honing your skills for communication and client service excellence at the same time as your technical knowledge and we will provide you with opportunities to do both.

You will be working alongside the full range of commercial specialists in this team, giving you access to develop your skills in all areas, particularly IT, technology and commercial contracts. This is a great place to bolster your experience and identify the type of work that inspires you so you can specialise as you progress.  From day-to-day support to major outsourcing projects, you will see that our lawyers understand the need to be both commercial and apply the law in real life situations in partnering our clients to achieve their commercial objectives.
