The team

Our Real Estate group is one of the largest real estate teams in the UK, advising an impressive range of clients including commercial and residential developers, investors, major corporate occupiers and banks/funders. Since the opening of our Sheffield office in 2017, we now have two Partners leading our team of 7 further legal advisors, and we continue to go from strength to strength. The team focuses on all areas of Real Estate and has a particular expertise acting on high-value, large-scale greenfield and strategic land projects, as well as advising on large development projects for both public and private sector clients, involving development agreements, pre-lets, forward funding and disposals. A fully agile team, we offer fully flexible working, whether you prefer to spend most of the week at home, or in the office. 

The role

We are looking for an additional and passionate Real Estate lawyer to join our Sheffield based team of experts. You will have the opportunity to work and lead on a varied and high-quality caseload which will include large development projects, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant and large-scale greenfield and strategic land projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a confident client manager with demonstrable experience across a wide remit of Real Estate matters. The role will be mentoring other members of team therefore interest and previous track record in supporting in line management and unlocking potential from other team members will be helpful. We work closely with our other offices, particularly Manchester and Leeds, but most of our work originates from the client relationships led out of our Sheffield office, so you will get lots of client contact, and be encouraged to build up your own network of clients and contacts.
