The team

Our finance team are committed to providing an efficient and accurate service to our legal advisors and to other support functions.  At the centre of this is ensuring that the client and office accounts are kept up to date and invoices are produced accurately and in a timely manner.

The role

The role involves providing administrative support to the Credit Management Team.

Main responsibilities

This will include copy invoices, statements, both automatic and manual Excel statements, reminder letters, write offs, taking card payments as required, etc

Monitoring the Credit Management mailbox and responding to the relevant party to resolve any issues raised. These may be clients, legal advisers, members of the Credit Management team, other Finance personnel etc.

Maintain a small debtors ledger which will involve liaising with partners and legal advisers as well as with clients.

Producing debtors reports on SAP and sending to legal advisers on a weekly basis.

Any other admin tasks as requested

Skills and qualifications
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an admin role, preferably in a Finance environment.
  • Self-confidence and ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to successfully manage own workload and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An enthusiastic, positive, “can do” attitude with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Outlook (though training will be provided).
  • Experience of SAP would be an advantage
