The team

Our Real Estate group is one of the largest real estate teams in the UK, advising an impressive range of clients across a variety of sectors.  The constant need to be in touch with market patterns, systems and process has become paramount especially in these times.  Technology can stand us apart from the rest.  We need technology to streamline our processes and turn the dials on efficiency and profitability.  Work smarter not harder is becoming a common theme in the market and the desire to embrace this involves technological understanding and expertise.

The role

We are looking for a recent graduate, with experience in Business and Technology to assist in the innovation, design and implementation of performance enhancing systems across our market leading national real estate practice.  The role will work closely with our Divisional head, Business Manager and Professional Support Lawyers will be focussing on the use of technology to assist in efficiency and delivery of excellent client service.  A strong interest in tech coding and implementing process change is necessary as the candidate will be required to adapt and produce systems to a standard for use across the business.  Business acumen and project management experience will also be favoured.

Main responsibilities
  • Assisting Divisional Business Manager in project meetings, idea generation, change management and technical knowledge behind systems.
  • Being an ambassador and champion for the use of legal technology within the Real Estate division.
  • Analysing and keeping up-to-date with the legal tech market to identify emerging trends and solutions to effective provision of legal services;
  • Engagement with potential suppliers of technical solutions, implementing and evaluating the results of user testing to determine the effectiveness of the product.
  • Tagging and technical set up for firm supported systems.
  • Helping to maintain and enhance the Real Estate division’s Intranet on SharePoint to deliver knowledge and content to the division.
  • Assist with Systems Strategy and mapping for the division.
  • Maintain Systems and updates working closely with the PSL team on process.
  • Data analytics and reporting.
  • Assistance in project delivery and implementation of systems into the teams, encouraging the use of the systems and providing practical training
  • Collaborating with our Information Systems department to deliver the above
Skills and qualifications
  • University undergraduate level minimum requirement – BSc/Ba
  • Business experience and understanding from a professional service organisation. (preferred but not essential)
  • Candidates should have a proven track record of supporting and working within a team.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills essential.
  • Project Management Skills
  • An enquiring mind and genuine interest in changing processes.
  • System use: HighQ, DocuSign, Contract Express, SharePoint, SAP, AI tech (Kira), Landscape, Infotrack, Searchflow, Land Registry portal, Lexis Draft, Microsoft Teams, WebEx;
