The role

We have an Associate vacancy (3 yr PQE +) in our Employment team in Solent.

Taking a key role in this thriving team you’ll be working on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters. We offer full Tribunal capability up to and including advocacy at hearings. You will work alongside other employment lawyers in our national network and our colleagues in other teams – particularly corporate.

You will have chance to build your own relationships with clients.  We hope you’ll feel proud of our enviable client roster (a mix of household names and local employers in the region) and work with us to expand it. We will also look to you to supervise and develop juniors and have a role in influencing the course of the team. 

What are we looking for? We want to hear from innovative, passionate employment lawyers whose experience matches ours and who aim for service deliver excellence for our clients. We need to see a commitment to our Solent office but we know circumstances have changed over the pandemic and we can be flexible on where and how you work so please get in touch to discuss any particular requirements.

The team

Our Employment team is widely respected for providing an excellent service and delivering pragmatic and timely legal advice to its highly regarded client base. It’s a collaborative unit, operating on national lines.

The team primarily works with employer clients on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. We also have specialists in advocacy, corporate work and business immigration.
