The role

This is an exciting role within a re-shaped and forward-thinking business development and marketing operations team which provides integrated marketing, digital services, client relationship management and business development expertise to the Business.

As part of the firm’s Marketing Operations team, the CRM Systems Assistant will be responsible assisting the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager in the maintenance and optimatisation of the firm’s CRM system (InterAction), leveraging technology to enhance client relationships, support business development priorities and improve operational efficiency, ensuring client data and interactions are compliant, effectively managed and utilised.

You will support the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager and Senior CRM Systems Executives in ensuring the efficient functioning of the CRM system, provide support and guidance to stakeholders across the firm, acting as first point on contact for CRM system related queries, as well as championing data best practice.

Main responsibilities
  • Be a first point of contact for CRM system queries.
  • Assist with the auditing of data by running searches to identify inconsistencies, duplicates and other data quality issues.
  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to assist stakeholders and teams to gain insights into client relationships, work in progress and pipeline opportunities and business development efforts.
  • Review and report on undeliverable emails, opt-in and opt-out requests, feeding back to relevant teams as required.
  • Review, maintain and update client mailing lists
  • Ensure all documentation for the CRM database is up to date, prepare new guides and templates as required.
  • Support stakeholders with new client set up, ensuring all relevant data is captured. Create, update and delete user accounts.
  • Assist with CRM research required for business development initiatives.
  • Liaise with IT to address technical issues, managing through to completion, escalating to the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager where necessary.
  • Support the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager and Senior CRM Systems Executives to champion best practice across the firm.
  • Support the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager with ad-hoc projects.
Skills and qualifications
  • Experience of working with a CRM system, preferably InterAction.
  • A strong communicator with exceptional writing skills and attention to detail. Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to identify common themes and inconsistencies with data with a solutions orientated mindset.
  • Experience of working in a deadline driven environment.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive approach with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • An understanding of business development and marketing initiatives and how CRM best practice can support and benefit this.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems, Knowledge of InterAction and Vuture would be highly advantageous.
