The role

This is an exciting role within a re-shaped and forward-thinking business development and marketing operations team which provides integrated marketing, digital services, client relationship management and business development expertise to the Business.

The Events Executive role is part of the firm’s Marketing Operations team and will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of a wide range of events that will enhance our brand presence, client relationships and business development initiatives, aligned to the firm’s overarching strategy and business objectives.

Working as part of a high-performing events team, this role will support the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager and Senior Events Executive on the delivery of a range of events designed to foster client loyalty, drive business growth and underpin our position as a market leader. You will ensure that events run smoothly, by providing administrative support to the team, supporting stakeholders with queries and providing on the day support, as well as the end-to-end  management of a small portfolio of events.

Main responsibilities
  • With the support of the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager and/or Senior Events Executive, manage the end-to-end coordination of a range of hybrid, in-person, and virtual events, from initial scoping out meeting to event delivery and feedback after each event.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager and Senior Events Executive, such as responding to event queries, building and updating event invitations and client mailing lists, managing event RSVPs and invitation bounce backs and undeliverable emails.
  • Producing event collateral, such as signage, seminar handouts, name badges.
  • Liaising with venues and/or internal teams to update on logistics, numbers and anticipated attendees.
  • Update stakeholders, client relationship and business development teams on attendee responses and progress, ensuring they are fully briefed ahead of events.
  • Ensuring our intranet and website are updated with relevant information relating to upcoming events.
  • Attend planning meetings with key stakeholders, along with the Senior Events & CRM Systems Manager and/or Senior Events Executive to understand and document event objectives.
  • Research and source external venues and event suppliers and staying up to date with industry trends and news.
  • Support with tracking event budgets, providing regular updates and guidance.
  • Prepare and present post event analysis and reporting to team and stakeholders.
Skills and qualifications
  • Previous experience of coordinating events, gained in a professional services or similar environment. An understanding of the legal sector is advantageous.
  • A confident communicator with exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent client experience.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems. Experience of InterAction would be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • A proactive team player, able to prioritise and manage several projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
