In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules. You will be self-motivated, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills to be able to integrate within a team. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail, plus a good level of IT literacy is needed (however training will be given on the systems you’ll be using). A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English together with excellent numerical skills is essential.
Ideally in addition to the above, you will have an advanced knowledge of Excel.

There will be two interview stages in total, which will be held at our Manchester office.
Background checks
Due to the nature of the work undertaken, confirmation of employment will be subject to a variety of checks which will be carried out once an offer of employment is accepted. These checks will include employment references covering the last 5 years, proof of ID, proof of address covering the last 5 years, Personnel Vetting credit search (which will only highlight insolvency or County Court Judgments - should any adverse data show on the Personnel Vetting search then any offer of employment made will be withdrawn).Terrorism Check (against data supplied by the Bank of England) and a basic DBS check previously known as a Criminal Records check. |
