The department

Our BD and Marketing team are responsible for proactively driving the demand for our global services, identifying prospects and converting leads to new business across all our locations.

Other information

As a key player in our management team, this significant role is critical as we continue to build our global presence, with overall accountability for the strategic planning, delivery and reporting of all our global business development and marketing activity.

We need a leader who is a dynamic self-starter, with specific law firm experience, creativity, drive, energy and enthusiasm.

This role will involve travel.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level, with a relevant professional qualification - likely to be in marketing, business or law.

Knowledge/skills/experience

  • Significant senior level experience in marketing and business development in a mid-size professional services organisation operating in different jurisdictions.

  • A good understanding of the legal market.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Excellent research, analysis and report writing skills.

  • In depth knowledge and hands-on experience of marketing communications tools.

  • Highly computer literate (with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Effective time management and organisational skills.

  • Experience of working with CRM (Client Relationship Management) systems.

  • Experience of digital marketing and the use of social media.

  • Excellent project management skills.
