The department

Are you a professional services specialist, and an expert at identifying, influencing, and persuading a discerning audience?

This key role within our Business Development and Marketing team aims to enhance the reach, impact, and visibility of our global profile. The candidate who earns this role will make a significant contribution to the overall success of our business. The main purpose of this position is to capture the attention and interest of prospective clients, and communicate the exceptional and diverse work being done by our extraordinary team. However it will also require strong internal communications skills to co-ordinate and deliver campaigns, create impactful messages that keep the business informed, and manage the expectations of busy stakeholders. We want to promote and celebrate our firm’s values, and the culture and personality of Bedell Cristin which we believe sets us apart. This will require a candidate with an in-depth understanding of the offshore market, strong relationships with the media, and as much EQ as IQ.

In our externally facing activities we currently use carefully planned and targeted business communications, including press releases, marketing materials, and website content. And since tactical opportunities are common in our industry, we must also be highly responsive, flexible, and capable of calmly managing shifting priorities. We believe opportunities are everywhere, so we’d love to find someone with the drive and resourcefulness to chase them down.

Our clients expect efficiency, vigor, creative solutions, and impeccable service. This role will demand the same of the candidate, and we carefully monitor KPIs and other success metrics. In return we offer a competitive salary and benefits, and excellent opportunities for career development within the business.

Applicants will also appreciate that the demands of this role will require a degree of personal flexibility, and that out of hours work may occasionally be necessary.
