Purpose of job

The work will require a good understanding of, and genuine enthusiasm for, data protection law.

The role requires excellent drafting skills, an ability to explain complex issues clearly and effectively, the confidence to negotiate, and the focus to keep a cool head under pressure.

You will be expected to take ‘ownership’ of your matters and progress these with clients and others, with necessary supervision and guidance as required.

Participation in business development initiatives and activities will also be required, so you should have some experience of writing articles for internal and external publication and, ideally, an appetite for public speaking.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team dealing with high quality work. We are ideally seeking a Solicitor or Associate of 2-5 PQE with training from a well regarded city, regional or national firm with previous data protection experience.
