The department

Our Construction and Engineering Team is one of the largest in the UK. The team deals with all aspects of law impacting on the construction industry.

We act for a wide range of public and private sector clients, including professionals, contractors, developers, sub-contractors, owner occupiers and financial institutions.

Our main focus is in the resolution of disputes, but we also have a breadth of experience in the drafting of contracts and the due diligence associated with the funding of commercial developments.

We regularly run training sessions and seminars on a wide range of topics affecting those businesses in the industry or working with the industry. 

 

Purpose of job

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic market leading team dealing with high quality work. 

Depending on the level of experience and qualification the fee earner will work on a variety of matters, typically Adjudication and Court work acting for clients across all parts of the construction industry.

 

The candidate

Ideally seeking an NQ + Solicitor gained within a well-regarded city, regional or national firm with a well-developed knowledge in all areas of corporate transacations. 

He/she would be expected to play an active role in marketing and practice development as well as providing a high level of service to existing clients.
