The Team

We provide specialist legal advice on the whole spectrum of private and business issues, helping clients to preserve and transmit their family assets and wealth (advising on trusts, Wills, probate and tax).  We offer a straightforward personal service specifically tailored to clients’ requirements. We have a wealth of experience advising on all the issues clients may have to face in relation to both wealth management and other events of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advice on and act in the administration of estates
  • Provide advice in relation to wills and succession planning
  • Provide advice in relation to UK tax planning for individuals
  • Provide trust advice including trust‎ administration, advice to trustees on their duties, drafting trust instruments and deeds, advising trustees on taxation of trusts, advice to beneficiaries, advising settlors of new trusts and the implications
  • Provide advice in relation to capacity issues including drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney
Person Specification
  • High level of technical knowledge relating to the practice areas.
  • Efficient communication skills and the ability to pitch the advice to the person receiving it.
  • The ability to deal with many matters at any one time.
  • The organisational skills to keep files in order and to move transactions to completion effectively.
Education and Qualifications

Minimum 2.1 degree and a training contract undertaken in a mid-sized or city firm.

Special aspects

The hours of work for this opportunity are 09:30am-5:30pm but it is essential to be committed, flexible and prepared to work beyond the normal office hours when necessary and in response to client demand.
