The Team

We require a Paralegal to join our highly regarded Clinical Negligence team. This particular role will be working alongside a Senior Associate and an Associate who are based in the London office.  There will be occasional requirement to attend the London office

As part of the role you will be required to demonstrate excellent and sound file management responsibilities being responsible for ensuring that our files are in good order including all legal litigation documents as well as medical records paginating as appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing medical records, preparing medical chronologies and organisation of medical records
  • Liaising with clients and handling matters with appropriate sensitivity
  • Witness interviewing and investigation
  • Attending case conferences with counsel and expert witnesses
  • Writing case reports as well as day-to-day correspondence
  • Document control – maintaining accurate records and files
  • Thorough preparation of documentation/cases to trial
  • Evidence gathering
  • Research
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong academics and/or proven relevant medical background
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal in personal injury or medical negligence is essential.
