The Team

We require an experienced Paralegal to join our Clinical Negligence team working on complex, high value work including catastrophic brain injury cases

This role will fit a talented Paralegal with experience of working on claimant clinical negligence cases looking for a new challenge and exciting work.

Responsibilities
  • Attending meetings and taking notes
  • Liaising with clients and handling matters with appropriate sensitivity
  • Taking witness statements
  • Attending conferences with counsel and experts
  • Visiting accident scenes
  • Attending court hearings
  • Writing case reports as well as day-to-day correspondence
  • Document control – maintaining accurate records and files
  • Thorough preparation of documentation/cases to trial
  • Research
Key Skills & Experience
  • Excellent academics and/or proven relevant medical background
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal in medical negligence is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role desirable
  • Good IT skills including Word, Excel
  • Ability prioritise and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
