The Team

We require an experienced Paralegal to join our clinical negligence team working on complex, high value work including catastrophic birth injury cases, assisting partners, Paul McNeil and Mark Bowman.

This role will fit a talented Paralegal with experience of working on claimant clinical negligence cases looking for a new challenge and exciting work.

  • Attending meetings and taking notes
  • Liaising with clients and handling matters with appropriate sensitivity
  • Taking witness statements
  • Attending conferences with counsel and experts
  • Sorting and indexing of medical records
  • Attending court hearings
  • Writing case reports as well as day-to-day correspondence
  • Document control – maintaining accurate records and files
  • Thorough preparation of documentation/cases to trial
  • Research
Key Skills & Experience
  • Excellent academics and/or proven relevant medical background
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal in personal injury or medical negligence is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role desirable
  • Good IT skills including Word, Excel
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
