The Team

In our Financial Markets and Products group our banking lawyers provide expert advice on a wide variety of international and domestic banking and finance transactions, including acquisition finance, asset finance,  funds finance, private banking and wealth management, real estate finance and receivables and asset based lending.

Our team comprises leading lawyers in finance, real estate and tax and is able to provide a seamless service, addressing the complications of both small and large lending transactions seen in real estate.

We have experience in the finance of all types of real estate assets ranging from major office, retail and residential developments through to institutionally owned properties to trophy residential properties.

We have particular experience in the hotel and leisure sector and significant experience in the healthcare sector. We also act for more than 50 banks and other financial institutions from around the world, including global and domestic banks and specialist real estate lenders.

Due to continued growth we have exciting opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Finance qualified lawyer to join this expanding team, working in the Financial Markets and Products team, on a fixed term contract. The role is flexible, it can be offered on a part time basis and agile working will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage own matters
  • Support the partners and senior lawyers on larger transactions
  • High levels of direct client contact – candidates would be expected to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Contribute towards business development strategy of the team by preparing briefing papers, attending and presenting at client seminars and developing their own contacts within organisations.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Relevant experience and a keen interest in Real Estate finance law.
  • Strong experience of transaction management (lender side) and a willingness and interest to work on general banking matters from time to time.
  • Strong academic record
  • Good legal skills including attention to detail in drafting and a genuine interest in the needs of the client
  • An ability to think laterally and identify related issues and problems
  • A confident and professional manner strong communication skills.
