The Team

We are looking for a talented and experienced Paralegal with a genuine interest in non-contentious and contentious construction law and a flexible approach to work. The successful candidate will be able to manage a challenging workload and work under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will support the construction team in Birmingham dealing with both non-contentious and contentious construction and will deal with administrative and management work, potentially running construction matters under supervision and dealing with discrete tasks in relation to matters (for example research, letters, drafting and facilitating the execution of documents).
  • The role may also involve working with specific groups within the Real Estate team from time to time on general property work including finance, transactional work, planning and property litigation.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Undergraduate degree, GDL (if applicable) and LPC completion essential.
  • Previous experience and interest in construction work desirable.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be willing and able to commit for the duration of the contract.
  • Enthusiastic, keen and proactive.
  • Must be self-motivated
