The Team

Our market-leading Privacy, Security and Information team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist it with the administration of its practice and the planning, management and implementation of large client data protection projects (including GDPR-readiness programs).


• Working closely with the Partners to identify, allocate and manage resource across client projects
• Working closely with Partners on delivering large-scale client projects
• Planning, managing and helping to implement project plans for client projects to
• Tracking milestones, deliverables and dependencies, and produce periodic status updates to both internal and external stakeholders. Arranging appropriate meetings or communications to ensure that members of the relevant projects are adequately briefed and ensure that they are kept up-to-date about any relevant changes
• Preparing scope, resourcing and budget proposals for relevant projects and then track progress against those proposals, alerting the relevant stakeholders promptly to variances and recommending changes and developing contingency plans where necessary
• Involvement with business development tasks

Key Skills & Experience

• You will need to be credible and engaging with the ability to work proactively and build close working relationships at all levels
• Ideally you will have a solid background and experience in project/process management, gained in a professional services environment and/or legal process management experience gained within a leading law firm
• Diplomatic team player with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Strong academic record - Prince2 qualification would be advantageous
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to work methodically
• Adaptable and proactive
• Highly organised with good consultative and facilitation skills
• Strong budgeting and numeracy skills
