The firm is growing rapidly and its revenue for 2016/17 was £165 million. The UK accounts for approximately 70% of the headcount.

The Team

The Marketing Department is made up of business development, communications, CRM, events and design specialists. The Senior Digital Marketing Executive role sits within the communications team and reports to the Senior PR and Brand manager.

  • Work with Business Development team to ensure external content on website and social media aligns with sector and practice objectives and campaigns
  • Marketing key contact for IT Department: working with Development and Technical Services team as required on projects affecting the website, email marketing and marketing systems
  • Manage our external web agency (Moriyama) for development of the firm website
  • Use website CMS (Umbraco) to update and upload content on website: creating lawyer profiles, services content, media, briefing papers
  • Plan and implement various projects annually to improve and develop the functionality of the firm website
  • Work with practice groups to improve content across the website, advise on best practice
  • Developing and managing an SEO strategy – keyword research, forecasting and competitor analysis
  • On-page SEO – content optimisation/topical relevance
  • Integration of various digital marketing channels such as organic search, social and content marketing
  • Manage annual digital marketing and website budget
  • Devise and implement social media campaigns
  • Run social media training for lawyers across practice groups and on 1-2-1 basis
  • Provide support to PA team on queries using Email Marketing system (Vuture)
  • Provide training to lawyers and PAs on website business development tool (Pinboards)
  • Support internal comms function by being one of the Super Users of the firm Intranet (Interact - Engage) and internal office digital news screens (OneLAN)
  • Regular reporting to marketing director and practice groups on website and blog analytics
  • Work with design team on website design assets and imagery
  • Support international marketing colleagues and staff with website updates and uploads
  • Work with IT Training to ensure Umbraco and Vuture training is being delivered across the business, and update course and documentation where required
  • Support the business with other Fieldfisher websites: Careers, Fieldfisher Consulting, E-Comlex, Condor, Roscoe Reid, Claims4Corporates

Key Skills & Experience
  • Advanced experience in CMS systems
  • Experienced with at least intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Able to consult and be an adviser and trainer
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Webmaster tools
  • Understanding of social media landscape and how to use it for brand positioning and reputation building
  • Experience managing external suppliers
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active and with a team orientated approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
