The Team

The HR department is responsible for the provision of a full range of HR services to the Firm including recruitment and resourcing, talent management, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, staff welfare, compliance and maintenance of personnel records.


As a Recruitment/ HR Apprentice, you will complete the Level 3 Business Administration (HR) Apprenticeship, whilst gaining exceptional Recruitment HR experience in the office.  During your apprenticeship, you will spend at least 75% of your time within the recruitment team and 25% of your time in HR Operations and Reward.


  • Assist in completing pre-employment checks for employees (for example, references and medicals)
  • Use social media to promote the firm and attract and source candidates for vacancies
  • Assist in our apprentice and graduate recruitment process (e.g. screening applications and managing assessment centres)
  • Interview scheduling.
  • Responsibility for maintaining the live job advertisements on our applicant tracking system.
  • Coordinating of interviews and emailing candidates correspondence relating to these.
  • Producing contracts of employment for new joiners.
  • Adding new employees onto the firm database

Operations and Reward

  • Provide Administrative Support for Meetings and produce minutes of HR meetings
  • Administer Human Resource Records
  • Promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
  • Develop and Maintain Professional Networks
  • Develop and Implement an Operational Plan
  • Responsibility for tracking a budget
  • Administrative assistance for recruitment projects
Key Skills & Experience
  • GCSE (or equivalent)  Maths and English Grade A*-C
  • 3 A-levels (or equivalent) either predicted or achieved Grade A* - C
  • Committed to developing a career in Human Resources
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent proven project and time management skills
  • A positive disposition as well as being a strong team player.
