The Team

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham. The position will be permanently seconded to a newly establish subsidiary of Fieldfisher which will be specialising  in multi-party Civil damage and Employment claims.  The successful candidate will be joining a highly experienced team of lawyers, legal executives and paralegals.

  • Liaising with clients and handling matters with appropriate sensitivity

  • Drafting and preparing documents

  • Administrative tasks
Key Skills & Experience
  • Undergraduate degree, GDL if applicable and LPC.
  • Previous experience and interest in Dispute Resolution work desirable.
  • Manage challenging workload and work under pressure.
  • Previous experience of civil or employment claims would be advantageous.
  • Experience of case management  systems would be desirable but not essential.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be willing and able to commit for the duration of the contract.
  • Enthusiastic, keen and proactive.
  • Must be self-motivated.
