The opportunity

With 12-18 months prior HR experience, we are looking for a HRA/HRC to join our HR team. Our role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a genuine HR Generalist role at the beginning of their careers. Being a generalist HR role by nature, we are looking for someone who thrives on multi-tasking and a hands-on approach, who can confidently juggle competing demands on their time. The right person will be energetic and proactive but detailed focussed in all aspects in the delivery of their role. As a member of a small (front-line) HR team, clear, confident and professional communication skills with all stakeholders is essential, as is intellectual capability and an aura of ‘competence’.

Responsibilities

The role itself is ensures efficient day-to-day running of the HR department which includes (but is not limited to):

  • HR Operations: starters and leavers processes and weekly updates; management of absence and appraisal systems; supports HRM with benefits administration; super user for FW systems and reporting as required

  • HR admin: prepare offer letters/references/pension letters ; R&P letters ; minutes for forums and review moderation meetings ; prepares quarterly analysis of exit interview data; completes SRA compliance as it applies to HR  supports HRD/HRM with review process ; produces HR data for HRD/HRM as required ; Intranet supervisor; integral role with on-boarding in preparing new joiner inductions and HR induction

  • Recruitment: works with HRM & HRD to manage our annual FW graduate recruitment process including assessment centres, vacation week ; works with the HRM to help manage recruitment process of junior support staff / Associates ; books training and maintains training calendar; ensures accurate training records

  • Engagement & Well-being: Supports HRD with the planning and successful implementation of well-being activities

  • Diversity: Supports HRD with new initiatives and brings new ideas to the team ; input monthly payroll data ; accurate recording of training / recruitment expenditure ; processing invoices

  • FW Profile: supports HRM with FW LinkedIn profile, website, adverts ; manages FW Facebook page as it relates to careers
