The department

The Finance department is made up of a central management team, Cashiers, Billing and Credit Control teams. On a day to day basis the Finance Systems Analyst will report directly to the Finance Systems Manager and will assist in the day-to-day support of the firm’s Finance Systems.  The position will encompass user support, finance systems operational support, application support, development and testing, change control and documentation.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant should:

  • be able to accept tasks and advice from other more senior members of the department including the Operations Manager, Financial Controller and CFO;

  • have relevant experience of working in the legal sector and supporting standard legal systems. However other sectors may be considered;

  • capable of working to tight deadlines, sometimes under pressure and prioritising workload accordingly;

  • display a helpful and professional approach and be able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff at all levels of the firm;

  • SQL experience would be preferred but not essential;

  • be able to take on Finance Systemprojects.

Additional information

The ideal candidate should have Elite 3E experience but Enterprise or Aderant or other PMS experience will be considered. Experience with SQL/SSRS would be advantageous.
