The department

We have a substantial IP practice within CMI of over 50 lawyers, attorneys and specialist support staff practising in this area and are recognised in Chambers, Legal 500 and WTR for a number of IP related fields including trade mark filing and prosecution, IP litigation, advertising, brand management, sport and media and entertainment.

Our trade mark prosecution client base is varied; from global brandowners to start ups, however, much work is focussed on the following sectors: advertising/marketing, retail, fashion, entertainment, technology automotive and sports.

Due to recent client wins we are looking for an additional senior lawyer in the Trade Mark and Portfolio Management team to lead on the client relationships and take an active role in pursuing new business development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be a key part of a hard-working, friendly and supportive team; therefore, the ideal candidate will be a strong team player and have experience working in a high performing and collaborative environment.
