The department

Lewissilkinhouse is Lewis Silkin’s flexible resourcing service which provides clients with temporary lawyers and paralegals to cover for absence, busy periods or assist with projects. It was established in 2013 and is one of the first law firms providing an offering of this kind.

We are looking for paralegals to join our Lewissilkinhouse service. Our Lewissilkinhouse paralegals are employees of the firm who receive a competitive remuneration package with access to extensive employee benefits. They are engaged on various different types of employment contracts including fixed-term and zero hours employment contracts. They usually work exclusively at clients’ premises. Placements are generally full time but part time placements do also arise from time to time.  Placements are largely based in Central London but can be based elsewhere including Greater London and the M4 corridor.

Many of our clients who use our in-house service are well-known household names across a broad spectrum of industry sectors including financial services, energy, automotive, international consulting, technology, retail, FMCG, professional services and media.

Additional information

The jobholder will be providing paralegal support to our clients’ in house legal teams on a variety of in house legal projects, for example data projects, and general support, often with an employment and/or commercial law focus.
