Responsibilities

Purpose:

You will be responsible for implementing and facilitating organisational change management strategies, processes and mechanisms developed for our Workplace Strategy Project. You will act as an internal change management expert working with our strategic team to iterate our Workplace Strategy based on feedback as we learn from implementation. This is an 18 month contract. 

You will be accountable for project management of the Ways of Working deliverables. You’ll use your expert project management skills and collaborate using strong communication, written documentation and facilitation skills.

To be successful you’ll be highly motivated, a self-starter, bringing a proactive, can-do attitude to project delivery, capable of working independently as well as in teams in our collaborative and at times demanding project environment. You’ll need to be credible, with the gravitas to engage and influence effectively with partners, business leaders and senior client stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

Implement and advise on:

  • Enterprise change management processes, procedures, and mechanisms. Including different change tools, stakeholder mapping, engagement and communication approach.
  • Feedback mechanisms that enable development and continuous iteration and improvement of the delivery of the Workplace Strategy Project.
  • Analysis, data collection (quantitative and qualitative), and feedback efforts in order to provide insights into change efforts.
  • Communication strategies, activities, and content that focus on employee experience and the mindset and behaviours that enable change.
  • Risk mitigation and management plans.
  • Engaging employee groups of colleagues from cross function areas of the business to get insights throughout the project and test thinking in approach and communication.

Communicate, collaborate, and partner with:

  • Project Steering Group to establish the Ways of Working programme of activity, defining roles and responsibilities for each activity, identifying the measures of success, setting out the interdependencies across the programme of works, tracking and communicating progress as well as creating feedback loops to test, learn and iterate.
  • Seven Partnership to establish project reporting requirements and presenting these findings back to the Project Steering Group.
  • Project Steering Group to clearly articulate project success criteria, communicating progress to the wider business.
  • Workplace Strategy Project contributors to anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies and provide escalation management processes throughout the project.
  • Business stakeholders, Partners and Communications team to develop employee engagement approach and change communication internally and externally.
  • HR team, in order to align change in processes, procedures, guides, polices and communications strategies. For example; if a review of our current Flexible Working Request policy is required. 
  • Business leaders across disciplines, to test thinking and effectively coordinate multi-departmental change strategies.
  • L&D Manager to design and develop employee and manager training sessions, or programmes. Identifying and appointing any third-party trainers, subject to budget approval. 
  • Employee D&I and Wellbeing groups to inform and feedback on the Ways of Working programme of activity.

What we’re looking for:

The right candidate will have experience managing complex projects across lots of different stakeholders. 

You’ll have:

  • Strong consulting skills, with demonstrable experience of change delivery
  • Experience deploying different project and change methodologies and practices and ability to identify the best methodology or combinations of for the situation.
  • Experience creating communication strategies that focus on people experience and change management.
  • Demonstrable skills in understanding the conditions for changing mindsets and behavioural change in a supportive way. 
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and advising organisational transformations. 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship building skills with effective communication skills and the ability to influence people, including senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, enabling you to plan, manage and coordinate a large number of activities, with effective time management and an ability to remain calm and objective under pressure.
  • Experience using collaboration and engagement tools and technology for hybrid working environments.
