The department

Our Dispute Resolution team comprises qualified arbitrators and mediators – all experienced and robust negotiators – and we work with our clients to design the most appropriate strategy for their circumstances. We can also draw on the experience and knowledge of specialist teams, including colleagues from our employment, property, clinical negligence and personal injury teams, to ensure that whatever course our clients take we have the best possible chance of success.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented newly qualified Solicitor with experience in Dispute Resolution to join our busy team at the Wimbledon office.

The ideal candidate will be 0-1 year PQE, commercially minded and have the technical and communication skills required to provide the highest level of client service.  You will have a degree qualification of a 2:1 or above.

You must have taken a litigation seat during your training contract, ideally at a well-regarded regional firm, and you will have had an excellent training.

You will be organised, efficient, and be able to work well as part of a happy, hard-working team. We work collaboratively and you will be fully supported and mentored, but you must also have the ability to use your own initiative and to be proactive. You will have excellent IT skills and a willingness to work in all areas of the team’s practice, with the opportunity to specialise as your career develops.

Permanent, Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week
