The department

Modern medical treatment is highly specialised and complex, and can deliver outstanding treatment. However, even the best doctors and hospitals make mistakes that can leave patients with serious, even life-changing issues. Our medical negligence practice supports clients throughout the whole of the UK. We provide expert advice based on up-to-date medical knowledge delivered in a down-to-earth, sympathetic manner. Our aim is to minimise the our clients stress in what are already difficult circumstances.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, talented, ambitious individual to join a modern, forward-thinking law firm with traditional values of integrity and trust. The Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence department is a small but niche team of Lawyers handling high value and complex claims. You will be working for and supporting an experienced partner and senior solicitor.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years + PQE, will have experience in running portal Personal Injury cases to settlement stage and will have experience in high value complex Personal Injury claims, ideally including experience in catastrophic/brain and/or spinal injury cases. You will also ideally have some experience in clinical negligence claims.

 We are looking for a candidate who is commercially minded and meets a healthy financial target, but who will go the extra mile to provide excellent client care. Attention to detail, client care and compliance skills are essential.
