Meet the team:

It’s no surprise that our Talent & Culture Team is growing as we pursue our ambitious growth plans! You’ll be part of the wider People Team where the focus is on building a high-performance culture with strong engagement and a reputation for developing talent at all levels. The People team has around 25 members comprising HR Business Partnering, Development, Talent & Culture and HR Operations functions. This is a dedicated team of individuals all passionate about helping our people succeed.

This is an awesome opportunity for a talented and highly skilled senior recruitment professional to join us at a time of ambitious growth.  We’re looking for someone to take charge of developing, embedding and evolving our in-house proactive talent acquisition offering, expanding our talent networks and senior hire brand reputation in the professional services sector and business networks.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To evolve our in-house lateral pro-active hiring capability, seeking and securing key talent identified in our lateral hiring plan, reducing agency support and cost significantly.
  • To establish our in-house lateral resourcing team and implement key hiring processes to enable swift identification of talent and conversion to hire, and enhancing our exceptional hiring and onboarding of lateral hires.
  • Responsible for the delivery, governance and ownership of the end-to-end proactive hiring process driving a world-class, high-touch candidate (internal and external), hiring manager and people experience.
  • To develop excellent relationships with senior leaders to closely understand hiring needs from our growth plans, managing all engagement with targeted talent, selling our opportunities to individuals and coordinating the hiring process through to offer.
  • To create and build a talent bank of senior talent for our firm/ group, creating an engagement plan to keep talent warm and educated on our firm/ group.
  • Externally source candidates directly through several different channels, including referrals, market mapping and insight-led work.
  • Hosting and devising events to develop our talent bank and our alumni (working closely with Business Development) increasing our employer brand impact, arranging events, our talent bank and supporting any regional presence activity.
  • Manage trusted relationships with any direct/retained head-hunters or recruitment agents. Educating suppliers on our growth plans and employer brand to ensure our key suppliers are accurately representing our exceptional brand and culture to ensure a fantastic candidate experience.

Skills and experience you will need:

  • To be driven by the thrill of the hunt for the ideal candidate and to understand how critical your role is to our growth, raising the bar in providing an exceptional candidate experience.
  • To have a high degree of confidence, comfortable and skilled in liaising at all levels inspiring trust in those around you.
  • To be able to demonstrate a track record of executive search and direct candidate identification at a senior level, along with delivery of the full executive search projects.
  • To be a natural networker and relationship builder and be fully integrated into the teams you support.
  • To understand and demonstrate what best-in-class recruiting looks like, sharing knowledge and skills to our wider Talent Acquisition team.
  • To be agile, metrics-driven, and tenacious by nature, and a highly-skilled senior level recruiter.
  • Substantial senior-level search/recruitment experience.
  • Experience of a “start-up” of a new function or business area.
  • Demonstrable experience of networking with senior leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Credibility within a high performing culture.
  • The ability to change the status quo when it comes to resourcing.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.

We have hubs in Birmingham, Leicester, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role will be predominantly home-based initially with travel as required into our office hubs.
