Meet the team:

The Managed Legal Services team supports Shakespeare Martineau, Lime Solicitors and Corclaim with legal process management, paralegal support, client discovery, due diligence, discovery, data intelligence, knowledge management and client management services. The role of this team is to help improve efficiencies and the client experience by supporting our fee earning teams.

The opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Client Contracts Manager to join our ambitious Managed Legal Services team.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, enjoys getting involved in client operational transaction work and has an aptitude for delivering value-add management information. You will have exposure to hands-on work from day one, and will play a key role in a thriving team to provide high quality client operational services to a variety of clients.

Your key duties will be:

  • co-ordinating and reporting on data, service level agreements and KPIs
  • ensuring client portals are updated and all associated tasks completed in line with the client’s requirements
  • giving clear advice in correspondence and in person
  • leading the delivery of client audits
  • establishing yourself as the focal point of all activity on your accounts - internally and with the client
  • developing a thorough understanding of your clients key operational issues and alongside the Client Partner and Business Development Business Partners, ensuring we deliver the full breadth of the firm for their benefit
  • working with the Client Partner and Business Development Business Partners to support service delivery based on client feedback sessions
  • documenting client specific policies and procedures, implementing, providing guidance and training to others internally where needed 

Skills and experience you will have:

  • a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience working in a client focused operational role within a professional services environment, experience gained within a law firm would be preferred but is not essential
  • experience of programme / project management, either leading or making a significant contribution to the delivery of a key account programme or similar
  • strong IT skills; proven experience in dealing with client’s operational data and management information analysis
  • experience of liaising with senior stakeholders to ensure operational KPI’s are met
  • strong attention to detail and adherence to KPI’s and auditing

Key competencies you will need:

  • a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • a high degree of initiative, excellent organisational and prioritising skills
  • a desire to enhance client relationships through day to day activity
  • the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at a senior level
  • strong business and commercial acumen allowing you to analyse and interpret data
