The opportunity

We are looking for a Corporate Solicitor with ideally between 1 and 5 years’ PQE experience to join our expanding Lincoln Corporate team, as part of our wider East Midlands team. It’s a unique opportunity to play a key part in market leading business at a time of exciting growth. This would suit you if you are keen to make a mark in the Lincolnshire market in a firm where you will have exposure to great quality work, including large transactions.

Your key duties will be:

  • working alongside senior lawyers to provide assistance on all aspects of corporate transactional and reorganisation work (commercial experience is welcomed but not essential)
  • assisting on large complex deals with appropriate supervision; building up your own caseload of more straightforward matters
  • assisting with company secretarial services, including preparation of board minutes, Companies House forms and other ancillary transactional documents
  • handling enquiries efficiently
  • liaising with clients in a professional manner
  • working to strict deadlines

Role requirements:

  • ideally 1 - 5 years’ previous experience gained dealing in Corporate matters within a law firm or in-house
  • strong IT skills
  • the ability to manage files effectively
  • a desire to enhance and build client relationships
  • excellent communication skills
  • a high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a fast-moving environment
  • excellent organisational and prioritising skills
