Meet the team

Meet Pete Dilks. He heads up our market leading real estate energy team focusing on innovative solutions to renewable energy and flexible energy generation. The team sits in our wider infrastructure and specialist markets business unit.

The opportunity

We are looking for an Administrator to join our Real Estate energy team based in the Nottingham office, part of the firm’s Commercial Property & Development group.

You will provide administrative support to the team, providing a high quality service to clients, dealing with a variety of sale instructions and liaising with fee earners and other members of the firm daily.

Your key duties will be:

  • opening and closing electronic and paper files
  • using a case management system to process and progress cases
  • carrying out post completion administration including billing
  • taking telephone calls and messages
  • photocopying, scanning, faxing, printing, filing and collating documentation in relation to contracts, leases and transfers
  • archiving, storage and retrieval of documentation (electronic and paper versions)
  • providing general administration and organisation of paperwork to support transactions
  • processing incoming and outgoing post and arranging couriers

Key skills and experience you will have:

  • a minimum of 6 months’ previous office administrative experience
  • confidence with IT systems to include Microsoft Word and Excel
  • the ability to work well in a team and develop good working relationships with colleagues and others
  • good communication skills with the confidence to liaise openly and clearly
  • the ability to produce a high standard of work, sometimes under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy and good attention to detail
  • to be able to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and confidence in your own ability

We have hubs in Birmingham, Leicester, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role will be a hybrid of home based with travel as required into our Nottingham hub.
