The opportunity

Are you an ambitious Corporate Solicitor with an interest in developing a specialism? Keen to join an expanding team and be at the heart of something exciting? Looking for plenty of client interaction?

We have big plans, a great team spirit and fantastic clients with long-standing and loyal relationships. Working alongside Jordan Glackin and the team, the role is to provide corporate advice and solutions to our clients with a focus on healthcare matters, predominantly M&A work.

Your key duties will be:

  • working as part of a team to provide assistance on a range of Corporate work within our healthcare team with a weighting towards M&A activity
  • assisting on broad range of deals from the straightforward to the large and complex
  • providing excellent service to our clients and helping to develop and strengthen these relationships

Skills and experience you will have:

  • we’re quite open on the amount of experience you will already have but it is essential that you do have previous relevant experience in Corporate work (if NQ level this will have been gained during your training contract)
  • an enthusiasm to deliver a great service to our clients every time
  • a good grounding and interest in this area of law with a desire to specialise
  • strong IT skills
  • the ability to work to tight deadlines efficiently
  • a high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a high performance environment
  • excellent organisational and prioritising skills
  • excellent communication skills

We have hubs in Birmingham, Leicester, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon, Lincoln, Sheffield and Glasgow. This role will be a mix of home-based working, with travel as required into our Milton Keynes hub.
