The opportunity

The role:

You will play a key part in providing an effective recruitment service to the business firm-wide, supporting the recruitment assistant and recruitment manager in all recruitment activity, through the entire recruitment cycle, in an effective and timely manner.

Your key duties will be:

  • arranging interviews, room bookings and dealing with all associated documentation
  • responding to routine enquiries and requests from a wide range of individuals including applicants, agencies and employees
  • assisting with advertising the firm’s vacancies using a variety of different channels and dealing with the associated administration
  • providing routine feedback post interview
  • processing data on the firm’s online recruitment portal, processing applications, updating agency information as directed
  • monitoring the firm’s social media on a regular basis and sharing information with the HR business team
  • assisting with the production of shortlists for HR business partners and team leaders
  • assisting with the identification of new ways to attract candidates
  • dealing with general administrative recruitment related matters including invoicing
  • to have an awareness of confidential and sensitive data / documents. Ensuring desks and workspaces are clear, secure and visibility kept to a minimum in line with the clear desk policy

Skills and experience you will have:

  • experience of working in a varied administrative role involving customer / client contact and ideally previous office experience
  • previous recruitment experience will be advantageous

  • strong and proactive organisational skills with a desire to takes ownership of workload and can recognise when there is a need for assistance or to re-prioritise
  • the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines and often with multiple deadlines to meet

  • the ability to be flexible in working location and hours as and when appropriate
