Meet the team

Our specialist teams combine expertise with a sound understanding of the commercial landscape to provide exceptional solutions for every aspect of our clients’ corporate requirements.

We provide advice on all aspects of traditional contentious and transactional/advisory insolvency work to Insolvency Practitioners and Lenders, whilst developing a fast-growing reputation for corporate-side advice in turnaround situations and distressed investment scenarios. We exploit our sector expertise within the firm including, in particular, banking and financial services, education and energy to ensure that real value is added to assignments undertaken by the team.

The opportunity

The role:

The role will include a wide range of case loads, including contentious and non-contentious work.  The work will range from complex restructuring and accelerated sale mandates, to formal insolvency procedures.

The team regularly acts for “big 4” accountants as well as mid tier.  The team also acts for a wide spectrum of lenders, from clearing banks and assets based lenders, to peer-to-peer and short team funders and have a highly regarded personal insolvency practice.

Your key duties will be:

  • liaising with clients in a professional manner
  • providing assistance on a broad range of insolvency work
  • assisting on large complex deals with appropriate supervision, and you will also be building up your own caseload of straightforward matters
  • handling enquiries efficiently
  • working to strict deadlines

Skills and experience you will have:

  • previous experience in insolvency matters during your training contract
  • strong IT skills
  • the ability to manage files effectively
  • an understanding of office financial procedures
