Meet the team

Our multi-disciplinary Real Estate group is highly regarded by our clients and within the sector. It comprises not only lawyers but also town and country planners. We’ve brought experts into our services in planning, development, investment, landlord and tenant matters, social housing, construction and litigation with a particular emphasis on energy, housing, education, finance and investment funds.

Marrons Planning is the planning consultancy team within Shakespeare Martineau and part of the firm’s multi-disciplinary Real Estate group, which includes lawyers as well as town planners.

Marrons Planning has some of the industry’s most experienced RTPI qualified town and country planners advising clients on a wide range of planning and development issues. Our experience includes dealing with planning matters of all types and scales from leading and co-ordinating large and complex development proposals, to dealing with small scale and householder developments. We provide our clients with advice on the submission of planning applications and appeals, representations to development plans, site allocation and promotions and strategic planning and housing land supply advice.  We undertake planning appraisals, advise on permitted development rights and enforcement issues, commercial, industrial and retail development, heritage matters and act as expert witness at inquiries and other tribunals.
