Our multi-disciplinary Real Estate group is highly regarded by our clients and within the sector. It comprises not only lawyers but also town and country planners. We’ve brought experts into our services in planning, development, investment, landlord and tenant matters, social housing, construction and litigation with a particular emphasis on energy, housing, education, finance and investment funds.

The opportunity

The role:

We are looking for a Paralegal to join Milton Keynes office, working across the Real Estate, Corporate and Commercial Teams. 

You will provide paralegal support in the teams acting for a range of clients including real estate developers, investors in property, local and national businesses, and high net worth individuals.

Your key duties will be:

  • opening files
  • assisting fee earners with the running of files from start to finish
  • looking at title documentation and title issues
  • drafting transactional documentation including contracts, transfers, deeds of easement and deeds of release of restrictive covenants
  • company secretarial matters
  • enhancing client relationships through day to day activity
  • coordinating bulk sales

Skills and experience you will have:

  • paralegal experience in Real Estate or Corporate and Commercial work including running files from start to finish including some of:
    • experience of drafting property documents
    • experience of drafting contracts, board minutes and forms
  • experience of using a case management system
  • strong IT skills and fast, accurate typing ability
