Meet the team

To provide truly outstanding client service we work as one team.  Our Business Operations Group is made up of business professionals who work with our legal professionals to provide market leading expertise to our clients.  The Groups include; Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, IT, Risk and the Executive Leadership team.

Our Operations team is at the core of our business. It is made up of 3 sub teams – Facilities, Client Services and Reception totalling around 60 people based across all our office locations. 

The teams provide an excellent and proactive support service to our internal and external clients. This includes, ensuring that all visitors to the firm receive a warm welcome, providing a well maintained and safe working environment and ensuring the smooth running of our facilities; they put hospitality and service at the heart of everything they do.

The opportunity

The role:

We are looking for a Facilities, Health & Safety Supervisor to join our Operations team, part of the Business Operations group.

The role will be based in our London office; occasional travel to our other offices will be required as and when requested.

Your key duties will include:

  • conducting DSE workstation assessments
  • processing incoming and outgoing mail inducting the distributing of internal correspondence throughout the business
  • assisting in the archiving and retrieval process
  • organising meeting rooms and provisions for refreshments
  • handling telephony work
  • providing occasional support to a busy reception
  • carrying out general administration duties such as photocopying and scanning support
  • organising couriers upon request
  • ensuring stock is maintained; to include monitoring and ordering of catering supplies and stationery
  • ensuring all health & safety processes and procedures are met and are consistently reviewed and implemented
  • investigating and documenting any health & safety incidents or concerns to ensure that health & safety records are accurately maintained
  • completing health & safety inspections, including fire drills and weekly fire alarm checks
  • liaising with internal clients and external clients to provide excellent client service
  • carrying out other duties and ad hoc assignments as requested by Head of Client Services and Facilities

Skills and experience you will have:

  • a minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar role, ideally gained within a legal or professional services background
  • an accredited IOSH qualification is desirable however, not essential
  • previous experience in conducting DSE’s workstation assessments
  • a professional presentation, excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • the ability to prioritise workload in a frequently changing environment
