The Department

This role sits within the Litigation Leeds Team, focusing on Commercial Recoveries. The team undertakes consumer, B2B and public sector debt recovery work and to provide support in relation to the team’s other client work as and when required.

The role

To work within the Litigation Leeds team undertaking BMW, B2B and public sector debt recovery work and to provide support in relation to the team’s other client work as and when required.

Main duties and responsibilities (subject to skills and experience) include:

  • Handle debt recovery and return of goods matters

  • Conduct litigation, including issuing claims, obtaining judgments and enforcing judgments

  • Contact with client, as delegated

  • Achieving set financial targets

  • Complying with Data Protection procedures

The person specification

Essential

  • Ability to achieve targets and work under pressure

  • Working as part of a team and on own initiative

  • Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines

  • An understanding of money and return of goods claims

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a similar role
