To give daily advice to client managers via telephone helplines.
There are secondment opportunities for this position which range from a day at the client premises to up to six months secondment
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Provide telephone and written advice on a Helpline directly to client managers
Use template letters and create bespoke correspondence for client managers to use as part of their employee relations process
Compile precedents and keep precedents files up to date
Conduct legal research
Attend meetings with clients
Liaise with Tribunal via telephone
Research and keep abreast of recent case law and developments in Employment Law
Prepare training and giving presentations internally and externally
Work closely with team members in order to ensure deadlines are met
Perform ad hoc administrative tasks including opening new files and key dates
Complete MI procedures as and when required
Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
Ensure relevant deadlines, quality measures and KIPS are adhered to
Comply with relevant policies and procedures
Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values
