The Department

Our Marketing team is made up of many teams that work together to support Weightmans' marketing processes. The teams include: business development; communications; CRM; events; profile raising; and projects.

The role

Primary objective

  • Provide administration support to team members as required to assist with the implementation of the marketing plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Collecting the post each day and distributing round the team as appropriate.
  • Assist with setting appointments for meetings for the team.
  • Assisting the comms team with production of materials for events to a high standard and adhering to corporate standards – including co-ordinating postal mail outs, making up packs and preparing badges using mail merge.
  • Assisting with post event administration including; updating campaign management to show who attended the event, inputting feedback gathered from event into Questback and assist in producing reports.
  • Assisting with presentations and formatting documents where required i.e. Powerpoint slides, leaflets and delegate packs, ensuring they comply with corporate standards and follow brand guidelines.
  • Marketing supplies – keep stock cupboards tidy and stocked with relevant supplies – including merchandise, stationery and any other appropriate equipment.
  • Responsible for monitoring stock levels of merchandise and flagging when running low on stock. Liaise with suppliers to get best price and quality of merchandise. Co-ordinate the purchasing process ensuring that all merchandise is on brand.
  • Liaising with all receptions on a regular basis to ensure marketing materials are up to date and in stock i.e. literature, banner stands, merchandise.
  • Co-ordinating the team’s monthly report to the board.
  • Provide support to Database, Digital, PR Manager and Internal Communications sub teams and assist with any additional projects they need support with.
  • Working with the Campaigns Manager and Database Manager on specific projects as directed to increase knowledge of marketing methods and practices and progress own personal development.
  • Consider new ways of doing any of the above to make things more efficient and raising any issues with the Head of Communications.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work a part of a team and on own initiative
  • Flexible – the role will be based in Liverpool, but the individual will be required to spend time in other Weightmans offices.
